Once I was walking through the park with a couple of friends of mine. We were planning on going to the library to study for our history final. On the way there, we found a box filled with old mobile phones. Now, I don’t know who would throw away a perfectly good mobile phone, so we picked up the box. As it turns out, that day at the library they were having a special collection of old mobile phones that could be turned into useful appliances for the homeless, like electric razors and tabletop cooking devices. I thought that was a great idea, and happily gave them our box of phones.
