Back in the days of my misspent youth, I made some unfortunate financial decisions.  By unfortunate I mean I spent money on unnecessary purchases, maxed out every credit card I had, and just wasted money in general.  I thought I had to spend lots of money in order to have a good time and make friends.  When my luck and my money ran out, so did my friends.  I paid for these stupid mistakes when I settled down and got married.  My new bride and I wanted to buy a home, but we were turned down for a home loan because the lender wouldn’t approve loans for bad credit records.  You can imagine how awful I felt about this.  Now I am looking for a lender who will take a chance on me and approve a home loan in spite of my bad credit history.
