Dot leicester organization

In my backyard I have a two acre garden. This garden is used to feed not only myself, my husband and our eight kids, we also pass along all surplus to our extended family and our church. The savings we achieve by growing more than half of our own food is amazing, but we are still looking at ways to cut costs even more. This year we are installing rainwater tanks on our roof. That way, when we are without rain for more than a few days, we can use this water to irrigate the garden. My husband is even talking about an underground system that will automatically do it for me. I can’t wait. No more moving sprinklers for me.
