I Love Hayle Cornwall As Our Yearly Vacation

February 21st, 2010 . by admin

For a while we were trying to decide where we wanted to go every year for vacation. We could stay in the US, or we could plan a trip outside of the US. One year we went to hayle cornwall, and we just loved it so much that we decided that it would be something that we wanted to do every year. There is so much to do while we are there. Our kids love it because there is so much to do, and we love it because it feels like a secluded little getaway for us when we go out at night.

US Tourist Visa

February 19th, 2010 . by admin

May well add that you get a form on the plane to fill out for US tourist Visa - and it is the green you have, not the white. You may, inter alias, to answer “yes or no” if you participated in the genocide or the like. You should check “no” there…. You may also fill out a customs form. The green leaves, you then plug in passport control and customs form allows you to the sleepy customs official who sits at the end. So it was in all cases later I was in the U.S., two years ago. The funny thing with the U.S. is that it is quite easy to get in while it is much tougher controls to get out. It is in my experience anyway.

Health Should Improve With Smoking Ban in Spain

February 17th, 2010 . by admin

I was amazed to read recently that some people who normally go to Spain for their holidays will stop going there and go somewhere else instead. The reason? Because of the proposed smoking ban in Spain to begin this summer, affecting smokers in public places. Hold on! So they want the right to inflict their filthy habit on others do they? Consider just some of the damage smoking does - Nicotine raises blood pressure and makes the blood clot more easily. Carbon monoxide robs the blood of oxygen. Result? Increased likelihood of a heart attack. Smoking causes chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), for which there is no known cure. Blood circulation can be affected by smoking, resulting in veins and arteries getting narrower.  Smokers are more likely to get damage to their stomach area which can affect their vital organs, increasing their chances of getting stomach cancer or ulcers.

Free Software for Work

February 11th, 2010 . by admin

We have a local parenting magazine in our community that recently asked me to write a monthly column reviewing software for children. As I am always looking for new software for my children, I didn’t hesitate to take the assignment. For my first column I was asked to review rocket spanish. As I have purchased numerous foreign languages programs and found them all to be lacking, I was glad to try this one for free. The magazine pays for the software so it cost me nothing and we loved the program. In fact, my kids are using it on a daily basis and they have already learned more in one month than I did in a one year high school course.

Montauk: The best Resort Town

February 10th, 2010 . by admin

After a year working really hard to get a promotion, I was finally taken into account for a new position. I knew I had to celebrate my victory with my family, so I decided to take them to a resort townI visited when I was in high school; Montauk. I did not really remember the place by heart, so I decided to get a resort map that turned out to be quite enlightening. My family was delighted. We enjoy the best beaches, the best restaurants, and the best resort we could possibly wish for. Montauk is simply amazing! I recommend it 100%!

Favorite Place

February 8th, 2010 . by admin

I absolutely love Hawaii! I have been there 5 times and I never get bored there. Even if you just laid around the beach all day, it is worth the trip. It is definitely a land like no other. My husband and I went there last year for Christmas and we didn’t miss the snow back home one bit. All of our friends were so jealous! We would send postcards to all of our friends and family with pictures of the beaches and our resort. We stayed at the Kauai Luxury Resort and it was beautiful. Hawaii is definitely my favorite place to go in the world.

Obvious answer to silly question

February 8th, 2010 . by admin

When my mate phoned me the other day asking if I would be keen on going fly fishing in taupo I thought the answer was pretty obvious. He was really just being a bit of a joker as he knows how much I enjoy fishing and how much I love going to the lake, so his call was pretty unnecessary. Anyway, we are heading down there in a few days and I can hardly wait. We have an entire day of fishing the streams which is going to be awesome. Of course no trip to the lake is complete without hitting the night spots after a long day in the water.

Cruises offer comfort on holiday

February 5th, 2010 . by admin

I’m really excited about the idea of a cruise for my next holiday. It was never something that really appealed to me when I was a bit younger as I was always more a backpack and hostel type, but lately I’ve really liked the idea of the ease and comfort offered by cruises. You don’t have to worry about organising things as it’s all right there and you can see a huge range of places all in one trip (a bit like an accelerated career break experience!) Of course, I’m going to have to do some research as I’ve no idea where I want to go yet. It all looks good!

audio lessons like Rocket Spanish

February 3rd, 2010 . by admin

There are plenty of language learning courses out there. If you put a reasonable amount of time and effort into it for a few months, you will notice a big improvement. Everyone is different but audio lessons seem to be the most successful approach. The good thing about audio lessons like Rocket Spanish is that you can take lessons on the road. The key is to make your lessons somewhat enjoyable. if you can play some games involving the language that will help alot. A good thing to keep in mind is studies show that your mind retains the most information when your resting and/or relaxed.

Always friendly and lots of fun

Of course whenever you have visitors from overseas, Rotorua is the first place to visit. We only live an hour away, but don’t have much to offer in terms of attractions on our farm. The sightseeing and the shopping in Rotorua is always fabulous (so we keep being told by our visitors) and the rotorua motels have never disappointed anyone. Even though they get thousands of tourists every year the people serving are still very laid back and friendly and go out of their way to help. I always look forward to coming back to join our friends even though I have got family in town.
